| Shaping the Platform & Block |
Once stitched together,
the shoe is turned right side out and
the insole is inserted. With the glue not yet dry
and hard, the maker is able to fashion
and shape the block and platform with a glass faced smooth
hammer.
The Maker's individuality is expressed through this sculpting process,
as each Maker's shoes have their own unique characteristics. |
